5. exercising with my girl, staying fit and trim but always feeling well (not knackered)

7. seeing Steve and Carol again and meeting their 3 lads in Glasgow
8. not waking to an alarm
10. Dawn service ANZAC Day at Villers-Brettoneaux
11. returning to the UK and seeing Steve Swatman's smiling eyes, ablaze with life, after a year of high medical (mis)adventure.

4. everything in RSA - the accents, the spicy smells, the ubiquitous mountainous backdrop, the beaches, my family

6. hearing Kel’s fabulous accent learning Italian - “fragola”
7. being complemented on almost every meal I cooked
